More clean water from Myra’s Wells in Burkina Faso …
We have only brief details at the moment. Communications with Christine in Burkina Faso are not always easy. But we want to let you know that a new well has been drilled by Myra’s Wells over last weekend, 15th January.
The well is in a village called Kamboissin, about 20 kilometres north east of Ouagadougou. The water is at a depth of 56 metres and the water flow is very good at 2700 litres and hour.
There are more wells which have also been drilled recently and two or three others which are planned. With some of these, we are waiting for the best opportunity to arrnage for the drilling crew to visit the area. By coordinating our efforts with other schedules, we are able to ensure that we obtain the best value possible in the contracts that are negotiated. That way we are able to provide more clean water from Myra’s Wells in Burkina Faso!
We will update the list of wells when more details are known.
Thank you!
Thank you to all our donors. And a special thank you to some anonymous donors who we cannot thank personally. At a time when the value of sterling is under pressure, we are so pleased to still be able to drill wells at good prices. With over 80 wells drilled or in progress, we are constantly amazed at the way God is blessing the work of Myra’s Wells.
And a reminder of our commitment …
And our commitment at Myra’s Wells is that 100% of all donations will be used directly to drill wells. The trustees fund all other expenses personally.
