The village that wasn’t going to get a well. After failure to get water at Ipala, the drilling company moved a few kilometres to Zimzemgougou where the villagers were sharing the dirty water from the lake with livestock. How things have changed and many have become Christians here.
When we drill a well there are 3 identified sites. If there are 3 failures we might loose all our money as there is no obligation to keep going. However, the drilling company have always been more than fair and in this case agreed to try further down the road at a different village and struck water first time.
